Karl Hindle
CEO

Karl Hindle founded Wellspring Digital in January 2017 and has extensive startup experience as well as advising C-suite and owner/founders on marketing and digital issues.

Karl served as a paratrooper in the British Army before graduating from the University of Aston, and subsequently trained as an accountant with Arthur Andersen in London, UK. Karl emigrated to the United States in 2009 after holding several senior positions with several European companies. His vision is to develop a true, full-service digital offering for the SMB market with every digital marketing need. Under one roof, it is centrally managed and delivered by one team with consistent, high-quality standards. Karl is a tried and tested business leader and in addition to his strong SEO skills, he also brings a wealth of digital team building experience working with organizations such as Adidas, Barclays Bank, ChildFund International and others. In addition to Wellspring Digital, he is involved as an equity partner in several business ventures in the digital space, and also acts as an advisor for a SaaS vendor in the Workflow Automation niche. When he’s not working, he can be found spending time with his family and their seven rescue dogs, playing guitar with several other frustrated, middle-aged rock stars, or navigating domestic life with two redheads in the house (his wife and stepdaughter, the Ginger Ninja).

Jon-Mikel Bailey
CDMO

Jon-Mikel Bailey is the Chief Development and Marketing Officer for Wellspring Digital. Jon has worked in the digital marketing industry for 25 years. 

In his role here, Jon is responsible for marketing the firm and consulting with clients on content marketing strategies. He also manages all business development and client engagement efforts. Jon is a writer, speaker, and consultant. He has been published in MarketingProfs, Business2Community, SpinSucks, {Grow}, Social Media Today, and more. He has spoken at the Digital Summit Series, MarketingProfs, ITE, Grant Thornton, and others. He has a beautiful wife and daughter who are nuts like he is. And he plays the drums in his free time.

Cory Runk
Director of Digital Automation

Cory Runk joined Wellspring Digital in May 2019 and has served as the Senior Digital Marketing Manager. In his current position, Cory is responsible for managing current marketing automation and pay per click marketing clients as well as developing these services for Wellspring Digital.

Cory is certified in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot Marketing, HubSpot Sales, and Sharpspring Marketing Automation. Prior to Wellspring, Cory has been in the digital marketing field for the past 10 years and continues to hone his skills in PPC, SEO, Paid Social Media, and Marketing Automation. When Cory isn’t furthering his marketing career, he’s spending time with his family, chasing his toddler around the house, and when he gets a quiet minute, re-reading the Game of Thrones book series for the third time.

Michele Murray
Head of Support

Michele Murray formally joined the Wellspring team in July 2019 as the Head of Support.  Michele brings with her a varied skill set shaped over the course of a 20 year career in the tech and design world.

Throughout that time frame she has served in many capacities and roles, including System Administrator, Quality Technician, Business Analyst, Developer, Designer, Project Manager and Support Specialist. When she gets up from her desk, she and her husband of almost 30 years can also be found dragging their two teens off to the next roller coaster or hockey game, searching for their next adventure and memory.

Director of Sales

Ashley attended Oklahoma state University studying political science and comes to the company bringing 10+ years of extensive media sales experience.

She enjoys working directly with her clients to create customized, blended campaigns that generate results. As sales director she works diligently from start to finish to make sure each and every campaign is personally tailored to work and fit each individual businesses needs. Artistic and Creative Ashley enjoys Pittsburgh sports, cooking and her family.

Jon Weaver
Creative Director

Jon graduated from Kutztown University in 1998 with a BFA specializing in graphic arts. His professional career started even before graduation with a position at Icon Graphics in Hagerstown Maryland. 

3 years of real world experience later he took a job at Streamline Design down in Leesburg VA., also staying 3 years until the company folded thanks to the ‘dot bomb’ crash. A freelance career began in the wake of that shake up, until being hired by High Rock Studios. Spending 4 years designing websites, logos, and print work for them until he and his wife moved to Colorado in 2008. This was the start of his freelance career and has been at it ever since. 2011 saw a return to the east coast (with 2 kids now) he has recently joined Wellspring as a consulting art director and brings with him 20 plus years of experience and creativity.

Amy is the Operations Manager for Wellspring Digital, with over 20 years of professional experience in administrative roles. 

She handles the financial management functions, including payroll and AP/AR. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

Workflow Automation and Team Manager

Sammye joined Wellspring Digital in May 2020 as the Workflow Automation Manager and Traffic Coordinator.

Throughout her career she has focused on operational processes and process improvements for an assortment of companies including a major metropolitan newspaper and one the largest printers in the US. She specializes in creating custom solutions in HighGear. When not buried in a workflow she’s on the pickleball court or golf course.

Kim has worked in the fields of Business Development and Product Marketing for 25 years.

From the food and beverage industry to technology, she has developed both launch plans and engaging content. Kim’s goal is to help you both build your brand and develop avenues of revenue. Kim is also a writer with a published business development and trend marketing book, Conquer The Trend Wave. She shows her love for the local food and craft beverage world by interviewing F&B entrepreneurs and is the Executive Editor of Dine Wine & Stein Magazine. She loves to travel and can often be found exploring with her husband and dog in their mobile motorhome office. In her role here, Kim is responsible for developing a business development strategy and digital content. She looks forward to telling our company story and sharing client achievements through Wellspring blogs.

Tyler Esworthy is the Junior Digital Assistant of Wellspring Digital. Tyler’s educational background includes a variety of online resources.

StackOverflow, YouTube, and Slack are just a few that he has referenced to teach himself web development tasks such as programming languages and web design toolkits. He has always had a strong passion towards technical work. He has always kept a close connection to the principles of Integrity, Honesty, and Duty before, during, and after my service in the U.S. Army as a 31B soldier (Military Police). When human beings experience the world wide web, it is not uncommon for their digital interests to unravel. Tyler’s great passion is bringing web development for websites, content and applications to people who have little to no experience. He works with clients who include friends, corporate businesses, and local businesses to find digital perceptions of themselves and strengthen their online presence.

Mike was born and raised in Maryland, and moved to Delaware in 1994 to attend the University of Delaware where he studied marketing.

After graduating, he worked as the marketing and graphic design director for one of the state’s largest car dealerships and spent time as a freelance graphic designer. When he’s not working, Mike can be found spending time with his family, golfing, listening to music, and all with a Cohiba in hand.
